Septentrion Finance has advised the management of DecideOm on the sale of the Group to NCI and Bpifrance
14/09/2022
Founded in 2008 by Christophe Malbezin and Bertrand Gaillez, DecideOm has established itself as a specialist in data services by developing a hybrid model that combines consulting with software sales. Supported by a team of 125 employees — including more than 110 in-house consultants — the Group provides end-to-end support to its clients throughout their data transformation projects. Headquartered in the Lille metropolitan area, DecideOm has expanded its footprint with two additional offices in Paris (2015) and Lyon (2019), following targeted acquisitions.
With the support of Septentrion Finance, which led a competitive process, the two co-founders selected the offer submitted by NCI and Bpifrance. Convinced by the growth strategy and values shared by the two funds, the sellers — alongside two key managers (heads of the Lille and Paris offices) — have chosen to reinvest as part of the transaction.
NCI and Bpifrance are now majority shareholders in DecideOm, alongside Christophe Malbezin, Bertrand Gaillez, Nicolas Salvagnin, and Adrien Futschik. The transaction reflects the long-term vision initiated by the founders: it ensures the continuity and independence of the Group while preserving its decision-making center in the Hauts-de-France region — a key point in a fast-growing sector.
