Septentrion Finance has advised the Foodiz group on its acquisition of a majority stake in Sushiman
27/04/2026
This operation marks a key milestone in the growth trajectory of both groups, united by a shared entrepreneurial vision and strong complementarity in their business models.
Founded in 2011, Foodiz has established itself as an integrated player in the production of sushi and pan-Asian inspired meals, achieving nearly €93 million in revenue in France in 2025 with sustained growth. The group combines a high-performance industrial platform, multiple production sites in France and Europe, and a network of around fifty company-owned sushi stands, generating nearly €30 million in revenue.
Since 2015, Sushiman has experienced rapid expansion in the supermarket kiosk segment, reaching over €55 million in revenue in 2025, with a network of nearly 175 stands, mostly operated under franchise. The brand stands out for its extensive offering of more than 150 recipes and a focus on quality and innovation.
This operation brings together two complementary models: on the one hand, an integrated and industrial model, supported by company-owned corners; and on the other, a network-based development model, relying on franchises and independent partners.
Together, the two entities aim to offer supermarkets a comprehensive range of operating formats, from franchised corners to fully integrated spaces, while strengthening their position in a fast-growing market.
This alliance is also expected to generate significant synergies, particularly in procurement, supply chain, and industrial capacity, to enhance operational performance and accelerate development in France and internationally.
Following the transaction, the Foodiz group targets a consolidated revenue of approximately €200 million by 2026, with a reinforced corner division exceeding €110 million, supported by an expanded network of over 250 points of sale.
