Septentrion Finance has advised Kinomap (Sportech) on its fundraising!
21/01/2021
Kinomap, a Sportech company offering a video-sharing and indoor training platform, announces the successful closing of a €3M fundraising round to accelerate its commercial deployment.
Kinomap is an interactive video-based sports route simulation platform with over 50,000 active users and more than 300,000 km of routes available, generated through geolocated videos shared by its users.
The platform allows users equipped with home trainers or cardio training equipment to practice their favorite sports by watching chosen routes on screen: the Galibier Pass, the Alpe d’Huez climb, Mont Ventoux... for cyclists, as well as lakes and seas for kayakers, and varied routes for runners. Users can compete remotely with friends; the video speed adjusts in real time according to the user’s effort.
Based in Paris and Douai, Kinomap recently completed this fundraising on the eve of 2021, with new investors including Seventure Partners joining the round to support the company’s sustained growth. This operation also enabled historical investors — Finorpa, Nord France Amorçage, and business angels — who have supported Kinomap since its inception, to renew their commitment positively.
A fast-growing company with a highly experienced management team, strong technological expertise, and over 80% of its customers based outside France, Kinomap exemplifies innovation in the Sportech sector.
Septentrion Finance, specialists in advising on equity transactions, supported Kinomap’s management throughout this fundraising.
