Spheretech joins the Winalco Group

Septentrion Finance acted as exclusive advisor to the founding partners of Spheretech, a specialist and pioneer in engine pollutant measurement and creator of EcoMaintenance, in connection with the company’s acquisition by the WINALCO Group — a leading vehicle maintenance specialist and owner of brands such as Restom, GS27, PassionAuto.com, and ABNET.
The partners of Spheretech mandated Septentrion Finance exclusively to identify an industrial partner capable of supporting the company’s strong growth, enhancing and strengthening its expertise, and broadening its product offering, which includes engine pollutant measurement and analysis as well as the distribution of premium oils and engine additives.
Joining the WINALCO Group will enable Spheretech to reinforce its market position and benefit from the scale and expertise of WINALCO’s affiliated entities.
The increasing push towards eco-responsibility in workshops for sustainable maintenance, along with new European technical inspections—such as particulate counting and NOx measurement—pose significant challenges for workshops today.
Thanks to the combined strengths of WINALCO and Spheretech, Spheretech’s clients will benefit from a higher level of service and numerous innovations.
Operationally, Spheretech’s teams will be integrated into WINALCO’s organization, opening new growth and development opportunities. Meanwhile, Spheretech’s commercial partners and suppliers will gain from enhanced collaboration and extended capabilities.

The transaction was completed on June 27, 2024.
