Septentrion Finance supports the MBI acquisition of SinapTec

24/06/2026

Founded in 1984 by Pascal Tierce (PhD in Physics), SinapTec designs, manufactures, and markets OEM ultrasonic components for the industrial, nuclear, and healthcare sectors.

The company generates over 60% of its revenue from exports (covering 12+ countries in Europe, the USA, and Asia) and has established itself as a reference player in the field.

SinapTec’s ultrasonic devices are used in applications such as cleaning, welding, fluid and powder processing, and more. The products feature NextGen technology, protected by a global patent, which simplifies the development and integration phases of the equipment.

Based in Lezennes (Nord, France), the company employs around twenty people, primarily engineers and technicians, and has its own design office and in-house R&D team.

Pascal Tierce mandated Septentrion Finance to find a buyer who shares the company’s values and has an ambitious development plan.

In this context, Alexis Catry, a graduate of ICAM and Université Paris Dauphine with experience at Safran and Stellantis, is taking over as President of the company. Pascal Tierce will retain a minority stake and provide technical support for several years.

The transaction was co-financed by Crédit Agricole Nord de France and Banque Populaire du Nord.
