Biolam 80 Group continues its growth by integrating the Guilbert Bourgois Laboratory of analyses into its network

Thanks to a new external growth operation, Biolam 80 Group continues to expand its network across the Hauts-de-France region.
After integrating several medical biology laboratories in Amiens (Somme), Beauvais (Oise), and Cambrai (Nord), Biolam 80 now covers an additional city in Hauts-de-France through the addition of a new laboratory to its network. This acquisition brings the total number of Biolam 80 laboratories in the region to seven and contributes to the consolidation of the sector.
With over 330,000 analyses performed in 2018 (more than 75% of which are COFRAC-accredited) and a team of 10 employees, the Guilbert Bourgois laboratory complements the Biolam 80 network. The volume of analyses has steadily increased since 2016, with a diverse client base including state-certified nurses, healthcare facilities (notably EHPADs), and direct clients. The laboratory’s biologists have successfully developed a close-to-home medical biology service in the heart of Douai.
Beyond the strategic interest of this operation, the biologists at Guilbert Bourgois and Biolam 80 quickly realized they shared a common vision for the future of the profession. Established since 1992, Mr. Guilbert and Mrs. Bourgois were attracted by the project and will continue to practice at the Douai site as well as at other Biolam 80 Group locations.
