Septentrion Finance has arranged the bank financing supporting the FE2T fund’s investment in Chauffamat

Founded in 1974, Chauffamat is a professional trading company specializing in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) equipment.
The company combines distribution, technical expertise, and consulting for its installer clients. It operates its own in-house design office, which recommends and sizes technical solutions to support its customers. Chauffamat also provides advisory services and after-sales support for the products it distributes.
From the outset, Chauffamat has set itself apart by offering services that go far beyond simple product distribution. With a large warehouse in Tourcoing spanning over 6,000 sqm and its own fleet of delivery trucks, the company ensures product availability, responsiveness, and reliable delivery. Customer proximity is a key strength, supported by a network of five branches located in Tourcoing, Valenciennes, Lesquin, Lens, and Dunkerque — providing comprehensive coverage across the Hauts-de-France region.
Driven today by the growing demand for energy-efficient renovation in residential and commercial buildings, Chauffamat generates €28 million in annual revenue and is looking to accelerate its growth, transitioning from a regional to a national player. Its ambition is to continue expanding geographically through both organic and external growth, while also broadening its offering to include renewable energy solutions.
In line with this ambition, Chauffamat turned to the FE2T Fund for strategic and financial support to help structure and scale its operations.
The FE2T Fund — a regional transformation fund dedicated to SMEs and mid-sized companies and managed by IRD Invest — is making its 7th investment in less than two years by taking a stake in Chauffamat.
