Piazza Coffrages is Growing!

Founded in 1974 in Denain and acquired in May 2017 by entrepreneur Nicolas Poriche (supported by Septentrion Finance in this MBI), Piazza Coffrages is a leading company in the construction sector. Specializing in the rental of formwork equipment (formwork panels) and renovation for the construction industry, it is the market leader in the greater North-East region of France. Its clients include major players such as Bouygues, Eiffage, and Vinci.

The company manages a fleet of nearly 13,000 m² of formwork panels for rental. Currently, Piazza Coffrages employs 33 people and generates €5 million in revenue. It benefits from the support of Humanis Croissance Hauts-de-France, which has just invested €2 million to help the company expand nationally.

“We are being approached by clients to develop in the Paris region, linked to the Grand Paris Express infrastructure project. Thanks to Humanis Croissance Hauts-de-France’s support, we will seize this great development opportunity, expand our equipment fleet, enhance our maintenance and fleet management services, and establish a presence in the Paris area. Our goal for the Paris site is to hire six people and target €1.5 million in revenue by 2022,” said Nicolas Poriche, CEO of Piazza Coffrages.

“The acquisition of Piazza Coffrages by Nicolas Poriche is a success story. The company benefits from promising development prospects: the revival of public works, mainly driven by the multiplication of projects related to the Grand Paris Express, presents a tremendous opportunity. We are pleased to contribute to this strategic growth phase for Piazza Coffrages, a gem of our northern economy poised to extend its leadership nationwide,” stated Juliette Vitale, Business Manager at IRD Gestion.
